Sports/Extracurricular Activities Indoor and outdoor sports and extracurricular activities such as dances, assemblies, school spirit gatherings, fine arts performances, and club activities may be available to students and spectators. For indoor sports, athletes will wear masks if on the sideline. Spectators will be expected to wear masks during indoor competitions and events. Mask wearing will be optional for all outdoor sports and activities. Consistent with CDC guidance
CDC Guidance For Fully Vaccinated People
- On May 13, the CDC updated its guidance for fully vaccinated people who are in non-healthcare settings.
- Fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or physically distance in any setting, regardless of whether they are indoors or outside.
- Full vaccinated people can resume domestic travel and do not need to test before or after travel or self-quarantine after travel.
- Fully vaccinated people do not need to test or quarantine following a known exposure to COVID-19 so long as they are asymptomatic.
